Lockdown, working from home, long hours at the desk. While others were baking bread, I was sketching layouts and wondering why there was no editor that let non-designers build genuinely good landing pages. The first sketches sat on the table for weeks. Nothing big came of it, but the core idea stuck.
Code has been with me since I was 13, most of it self-taught. But before building a product that others use with their own money, I wanted to learn the craft formally too, qualifying as an application developer (IHK). During the training and afterwards I worked for well-known software companies, among other things on established ticketing software with real user numbers and high demands on stability.

In parallel, people I knew kept asking: "Can you build me a shop?" At some point it was obvious to combine three worlds: the landing-page designer from 2020, a full creator shop and social-media automations, all in one platform. That is exactly what facelessed is today.
